Yomi Ogunniyi is the owner-operator of YAO Properties – a property rental and sales advisory business in Accra, Ghana. YAO Properties provides a highly personalized real estate service for clients primarily in the expatriate communities who have specific requirements and who may need her services and advice prior to their arrival in Ghana.
Prior to setting up YAO Properties in 2019, Yomi was instrumental in the start-up and growth of accraexpat.com’s real estate department for 7 years. During this time, Yomi has developed exceptional insight into the fast-developing real estate sector, and cultivated excellent partnerships with property developers, realtors, and owners.
As such, Yomi can present her expatriate clients with the best properties on the market that meet their criteria, and importantly, is equipped to handle contractual negotiations on their behalf.
Yomi acquired her Higher National Diploma in Real Estate Management from the prestigious Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, Nigeria, and has completed numerous courses in her areas of interest – French, Entrepreneurship, Web Development and User Experience.
On more fun side of the real estate experience, Yomi has been featured in two episodes of the famous American House-Hunters International episodes for Ghana: Worlds Collide in Accra, Ghana and Planting Roots in Ghana.
Yomi is an avid traveler, spanning 4 continents, when she is not planning her next trip, she loves some ice-cold Guinness with friends at the beach, watching National Geographic Wild or reading a good historical fictional book at home.
